Red water

I just noticed something when I put in my RCT expansion CD:  It shows an air launched vertical coaster, and the water in the background is red.  Why?

73 coasters and counting... I'm only 15 too.

It should be blue not red. I got no idea why.

Because the park the picture of the ride was taken, the park was space themed and the water was red due to the theme...

No, actually that is lava, not red water. To prove my point, find a scenerio with the lava and built a fountian, instead of it saying water fountain, it will say lava fountain, or something like that.

Wow, those lava rides must be built with some high-heat tolerance steel! I'd hate to be in one of the wooden boats from a boat hire.

I myself just think it's red water. If it is lava, Chris Sawyer did a horrible job at making it look like it, it moves too fast and looks too clear.

Its just part of the theme. Yea its probably supposed to be lava. But instead it looks like red water. I have a question. With my Dragons IOA 6.0 trainer theres the option to make red water. Why is it that when i make it, the water is still blue but with little red lines in it?

wickedtwisterguy, what you have to do is minimize RCT (i do this by pressing alt + shift.) then maxamise RCT again and the water will be totally red.

in the help file it says that you need to save and reload the game so the game engine can completely change water colour
