Red House Painters Album Cover

Looks kinda like the Coney Island Cyclone...I dunno...just a thought.
Hmmm - given that it appears there is a house of some sort under the structure, I'm gonna guess the recently departed Thunderbolt at Coney Island. The ride on the album also seems to be a woodie with steel supports, which I believe also matches the Thunderbolt.
That's a composite photo showing both the Coney Island Thunderbolt and bits of a Mad Mouse coaster somewhere in the UK.

I should warn you: I thought that album was terrible. For amusement ride album jackets you'd be much better off with "Under The Table and Dreaming" from the Dave Matthews Band (with a gorgeous photo of a Wave Swinger on the cover) or the single version (sorry, I think it is radio only) of "Rollercoaster" from Everything But The Girl, which has a very nice tinted picture of what appears to be a Thompson Scenic Railway.

Yeah, it's the Thunderbolt alright. Doesn't look any better than it did when they tore it down.
Thaks for the info. I was pretty sure it was the Thunderbolt, but the other ride in the foreground threw me off. I new the experts would come through.

About the music. I'm not a fan of them myself. One of my best friends loves that band, and asked me what ride/park that was.

Thanks guys!
