Recreations

Ok i have a question bout recreations.
1. In what part of the game do you build the coasters?
2. What kind of park do you start in?
3. Where can I download SFGadv theming cause I have none of it like the S:UF logo and stuff?

Thanks

Please someone answer me or give me a suggestion cause Im bored and wanna play some RCT2.

Well , you're obviously a newbie to the game so I'll go easy.

1.Well , you can go to the track designer , or build your own workbench(a scenario created for the purpose of building rides).

2.Ummm , don't quite understand this one , but you can try a few of the scenarios first.

3. It's pretty much everywhere. Try a search for it in whatever your favorite search engine is.

Good luck with the game.

...and I highly reccomend the RCT2.com forums for finding stuff.

Thanks and i meant like do I have to create my own park or do I start in a pre-designed park cause i wanna recreate the park exactly how i feel it should be, not how the games is.
Well , start in the scenario editor and make your own. That's pretty much it.:)

If you want a good blank slate to start with, go to CoasterBuzz Games ... downloads ... RCT2 scenarios. Choose "all time" in the timeframe.

Find either Jeff's Super Sandbox or Lord Gonchar's Personal Workbench. Both of those are simple, flat land with no monetary goals, and will let you theme and create however you want.

They're both pretty much a blank slate. Good for someone not used to the game enough to tackle the scenario editor.

Hi

Just an additional note on the Super Sandbox/LG Personal Workbench thing.

Jeff's Supersandbox is huge - I think it's the full 250x250 and offers all the necessary items for building a full park. The catch is that you can't let the park rating drop below 700 - which doesn't give a lot of "play" time in the beginning - you gotta please the peeps then make it pretty.

My Workbench, on the other hand, has no goal limitations (play as much as you want and do whatever - you won't get booted) but the catch is that it was meant more for building "one off" rides. All the pieces to put together a full park aren't there. No stalls, for example.

Keep that in mind when using wither of those for working on.
