Recreation: Chance Toboggan

Hello, I'm new to the Coasterbuzz forums, but some of you may recognize me from various other coaster-related sites. I'd like to take a moment and show you all my latest No Limits project.

This is a recreation of the portable Toboggan coaster manufactured by Chance Rides. The dimensions are not accurate in No Limits, but had I concentrated on making them accurate, it would severely suffer aesthetically, because Chance's track-gauge is much narrower than any of the track types in the game. I felt it was more important for the Toboggan to look right, rather than have accurate measurements in No Limits.

It took me almost 2 months to complete, and it seemed to have paid off--in just over a 24 hour timespan since I uploaded the track file to http://coastergames.net it has received the Daily First Place award, Technical Award, and Artistry Award.

I had fun building this, but it did get incredibly tedious at times. I'm definitely glad it's finally done.

So have a look and a ride, and let me know what you think!

Also, don't forget to check out my Drachen Fire recreation that I completed a couple months ago!

Thanks for the comments, guys!

stoogemanmoe - I've always had a very good sense of observation, and I'm a meticulous perfectionist (a bit redundant, but you get the point). It took me nearly 2 months to finish, and that includes rebuilding/reshaping the cylindrical tower structure twice because it did not look right.

That was THE scariest coaster I have ever ridden in my life. I remember riding that thing when I was about 5 or 6 at the local carnival. That would have seriously sucked if it fell backwards toward the station.

Make the station extremely short. I'm not sure how short exactly, but if it's short enough, the building won't show up in sim mode.
