Recording RCT3 as a video.

I know it can be done. Many people have done it...

...the question is... how? Does anyone here know how I can record the RCT 3 view that I'm looking at as a video file? I want to show off a little "show" I made for my You-Tube site (for the holiday), and I've been battling this since last year, but I forgot how to do it.

I thought someone mentioned there was some kind of "hack" or download that wasn't official RCT, but something else. If so, what is it? If not... what's the option in RCT to record?

Help? Thanks! :) :)

Isn't it just F11?

(sorry, I haven't played in ages)

I think F11 is correct.

It takes like, ages, to record anything though.

It's ctrl+shift+F11 to record a video. When you do it like that though, the tool bars show up, so you can either put in the David Walsh cheat, or you can use the Flying Camera Path Editor, which if you don't have soaked! or Wild! you have to enter D Lean as a cheat to get it open. If you do have the expansions just press ctrl+shift+0. The Flying Camera Path Editor could be what you're reffering to when you say "hack" seeing as it was never completed to be fully implimented into the game.

there's also a mutli view recorder...which is difficult to use, but great when you get it to work. I'm not sure the cheat for it, basic recording is ctrl + shift + f11

Ahhh....

...I finally figured it out...

After much long frustration, I found out it's CTRL+SHIFT+ 0... the F-11 key didn't do diddily for me. Unfortunately, there was no sound whilest recording, and it did a frame-by-frame recording which was very slow, especially when you wanted to control the camera.

If anybody cares to criticize the final job, I posted it up on my You Tube site HERE. It's actually about a year old (when I made the fireworks display), but I didn't know how to record and a place to show it off back then.

See? This game IS good for something! :)
