Goliath, SFH? Cuz that's definitely an intamin.

It ain't Tom Hanks...he's definitely too stoned to be Tom Hanks. ;) He looks like he just got out of the "I Did It" video!

LOL. Yeah Dave looks a little stoned there. It's just a shame you had to lower this thread by mentioning "I Did It" ;)

I'm asking around about the park/ride, I'd like to know for completeness sake.

BTW.. off topic... I am seeing their Woodlands shows next month, pray I finally get Seek Up after all the shows I've been too over the years. :)

I've always had my dream of playing bass in a popular internationally known band and touring the world, allowing me to visit local amusement parks while making tour stops.

I'm glad Leroi and Dave are taking advantage of this privilege, cause we all know everyone here would do the same if they were in their shoes!

The rest of the band gettin ready for the Darien Lake Show- Damn, where the hell are Dave and Leroi? The show starts in a half hour!"

Kingda Ka: The only coaster that felt faster than the advertised speed! To me at least.

I used to have the same dream. Then I worked in the music industry and witnessed what bands deal with on a daily basis. I can tell you they rarely, if ever, have time to visit parks while on the road.

I would think DMB would be popular enough and have enough leverage to do just about whatever they wanted, but I've never been close to "the biz."

SnakeEyes-- I am not in any way condoning the Everyday album or any of the songs on it, but if they'd released that video in the mid 90s, you'd swear Dave was the Unabomber of Love! ;)

--Dave (who wishes to state, for the record, that The Gorge 6-disc set blows Everyday out of the water...which is really unfair, considering that Aqua's Aquarium, featuring the hit smash "Barbie Girl," also blows it out of the water; and who also, for bringing yet another horrible song into this thread, assumes the title of "that guy" :))

See, thats the thing with dmb. They aren't wrapped up in movies, cd promos, television, or radio or anything like that, so they have time to do that kind of thing. The only thing they really put effort into are the shows, which are incredible. I love dave!haha. Those pictures are cool, where does everyone find stuff like that? I think it would just be some random thing you came across every now and then, but after seeing two, its weird.

Does this mean I will see one of the guys at SFOG before the Atlanta show next Tuesday? :) I've been to five shows on their current tour so far, and I had tickets to the Darien Lake and Hersheypark shows, but couldn't make it to the shows due to a work transfer. I still have the Atlanta show, and Cincy show so maybe I can run into them at PKI as well.

I did go to the two Pitsburgh shows and I went to Kennywood before the 2nd show on the 27th, but didnt see any band members.

Hey Dan,
You Never Know ;) Having already seen 5 shows, skipping 2 shows isn't so bad. The band is not introducing songs to the tour at as rapid a pace as the last two years. Lie in Our Graves just debuted a few shows ago, Watchtower two shows ago, Seek Up finally appeared tonight, and #41 hasn't even been played yet. Plus it's better to hear the brand new songs later in the tour as they evolve from night to night.
I know LIOG debuted at Hershey and I had tickets four rows from the stage!!! I would love to get #41 or Seek Up in Atlanta.
Here is a little story on DMB at darien lake, it also mentions this thread.

Army Rangers lead the way
Not to step on the attention of Dave Matthews, but I thought I would add to this post with another band. Yes, I know there probably isn't a lot of you that care about the band I am about to mention, but I thought I would mention it to those that like the heavier side of music.

Yesterday, the band Korn spent some time riding coasters at PKI. They are in the area for the Project Revolution tour and decided to stop at PKI for a while and get some rides in. I didn't see them but quite a few people I know at the park did see them riding The Beast among other rides.
