Re: S&S Snow Shot

This thing looks amazing! Even though it would most likely be a pay-per-ride thing-a-mabob I would FOR SURE pay $ for this attraction. Why hasn't any park bought one? I think it would be a GREAT addition to any park. O/T now, I have made a couple of my RCT parks with them and the peeps love them.

what exactly is it?

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

It's a snow mobile fixed onto a steel rail. Air tanks blast it along like a dragster. Here's a photo from last year's IAAPA Show.
it looks like the side wheels would wear out very quickly.  there doesn't seem to be much contact area which could dig a groove in those things (I think).  I hope that isn't also a model of the track.  does it do anything special?  go up a hill, full curcit, etc.?

Knott's Berry Farm Cuba ~South Park
Seems like an offshoot of the TA2K. I bet no parks have bought one because for a PPR attraction, it has a bad shape footprint. Look at most PPRs. They are on a small, usually square shaped footprint. This thing would require a long, thin stretch of land. That limits it's location to basically the edge of the park, and that might not be the best spot for it, as many parks have lots of large coasters along the edge.

Hi! I'm Hungry, whats your name?
Actually, TrBiggar, there is a park that has it installed.  I forget the name at this point, but it is out there.
