RCT3 You CAN build Railroad Crossings!

An interesting thing was posted in the Atari Forums today. Someone has found that you can build railroad crossings by simply building your train track, and then lower the ground where you want your pathway to cross it. Then place your path on this lowered piece. Finally raise the lowered land back to the train track height. You now have a crossing that the peeps will use!

It won't have gates of course, and the peeps will often walk through the train itself, but hey, it's better than nothing.

Heh, another flaw in the game that you can turn into a positive.

What a surprise. :)

I'm sure they planned it that way. pffft
And I guess the guest will be dumb enough to get hit be the trains. (lol)

Just to add, they were never taught to look both ways before crossing either, lol!
hmmmm, if it works w/trains, i wonder if it'll work w/anything else? like, ghosttrain-type rides.
Now that you mention it, i put a train in one of my parks and didn't realize that the circular observation tower went right thru the tracks and train itself...
maybe the train is truly a Ghost Train...
