Yesterday, I went to pre-order RCT3, and while doing so, the friendly clerk looked on his computer and told me the release date is October 27. Having previously been told in numerous places November 2nd, I pointed that out, to which he replied, "It's been moved up".
Anyway, when you preorder they hand you an almost empty product box (waste of packaging), which contains an index card. I won't divulge the code on the index card, but the free gift of 3 pre-designed coasters is for the full game, not the demo.
There is nothing hidden in the game code, the passkey is for a website to be launched after 10/26 which jives with the 10/27 release date.

As soon as they announce the game has gone Gold, then you know there's only about a week or so before the game ships out to retailers.
I just hope that if it is bumped up, they aren't rushing it, and the game is complete with all the demo bugs worked out.

GTA on the 26th. Games and movies come out on Tuesdays, not Wednesdays, that was a dead give away that the 27 wont happen.

Hey guys, i work at best buy, RCT3 hits the shelves on Nov. 2nd. The store will have it about 5 days before, and i know for sure there aren't any stores that will put it out before in fear of how much trouble they would get in.GTA on the 26th. Games and movies come out on Tuesdays, not Wednesdays, that was a dead give away that the 27 wont happen.
Not every game company promotes that "sell only on this day" method; maybe something like GTA, or Halo 2, yes. I doubt Atari is enforcing this date policy. I'm betting any store that gets it before the 2nd, will be selling it immediately, and on-line shops like EB, will begin shipping on the 26th. If a particuarl walk-in shop holds back on selling RCT3 until the 2nd (and it's sitting in the stock room for days), then I can only say, too bad for their customers. If you happen to have used overnight shipping at a shop like EB on-line, you'll be playing it on the 27th. I seriously doubt a store is going to wait a week later to unload it to the public.
