That thing was a mess start to finish and some things never did get 'fixed' :(
I bought RCT3 when it came out and I was never able to play it on my new CP at the time. I could play it on my old CP, but it was to slow to enjoy playing the game. I am getting a new CP and all the problems I had with the game before I threw it out. Would you suggest I buy a new RCT3?
I'm not going to suggest anything but I do not have a top of the line machine by any stretch of the imagination, but when I turned off the day/night feature and kept it daylight all the time things improved dramatically for me.

You have disturbed the forbidden temple, now-you-will-pay!!!
Don't try to use all the land available. The more paths, rides, and scenery you insert, the boggier it gets. Also, I've found that by controlling the number of peeps in the park, it keeps sandbox games running indefinitely. I try to keep the max. number of peeps to 900 - 1000. When the attendance gets up close to that point, I begin to jack up the entrance admission to $50. Usually somewhere around $51 - $53 is the tipping point where most peeps decide against coming in and the few that do counterbalance the peeps that are leaving.

Step 1: Take RCT3 out of your CD-Rom
Step 2: Put RCT2 into your CD-Rom
Step 3: Enjoy
Ive got a fantastic park going strong in RCT 2, Big Horn Mountain (western,) Castle Greystone, Snow Mountain and the Main Midway are done, Rome and Capitol City are partially done and Inventor's Park, Prehisteria, and Future City have yet to be completed. And I dont ever have to worry about my machine not klunking out on me.

Speaking of RCT3, is anything going to come out for Windows Vista and/or 7? And on top of that, what about No Limits? I apologize, school has kept me out of the theme park scene for quite some time. I just noticed the website is severely outdated.
If you think things can't get worse it's probably because you lack sufficient imagination.
Not sure what you mean about a RCT game being "for" Vista/7, but RCT2 runs swimmingly on Vista, and as such will run on 7 as well.
Im having a problem, I recently moved to a new house and had to disconnect all my computer stuff. I hooked it all back up and some programs were working and some were not. My computer geek friend said i needed to re install all my software. So everything is installed except for RCT3 so i go ahead and install it. When i try to play it it pops up and then closes and give me a error message saying its a bad Version?
Any tips for me??
