I'm not being condescending, just curious. What could you possibly need a RCT2 trainer for?
Secondly, I did a search using just the word "trainer" and found the following topics in less than 30 seconds:

TRainers are used by most here to make those MEGA parks and the workbenches.
lol, I think he knew *that*.
The only thing I use is the money feature (I don't want to have "park rating cannot drop below 700" goal) and the mountain tool features in regular game play. I'm still puzzled as to why he removed that.

I would use one to make all my rides new and set my park back to being new after building a park as it takes me a lot of years to get things the way I want. And I have noticed that the reliability of coasters drops very quickly in the game so making everything new before I open the park is a definite must for me.
Other then that I see no reason for one with RCT 2.

Oh, I see. Two good points. New rides makes sense. The mountain tool would be nice, but you could just use it in the scenario editor before hand although if changes are needed it'd be nice to have.
As far as scenario goals hindering your work, the workbench I use has a goal of finishing the unfinished coasters. The thing is, it's just a big flat map - no partial coasters to finish. For some reason when I load this scenario, the little window pops up immediately asking me to put my name in as if I've met the goal. I just close the window and work to my heart's content with no money or goal to stop me.
