RCT2 Sound Problem - CoasterBuzz

The sound on RCT 2 is horrible on my system. It's so bad we have to turn off the speakers to play which is very disappointing and it's obviously a lot less fun. I haven't had any problems like this on any other game including the original RCTs.

My system definitely exceeds the requirements for the game so I can't figure out what the problem could be.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have horrible sound but sometimes I don't hear lift and brake noises which sucks.

By "horrible," what exactly do you mean? Distortion? Missing sounds?

There are several sound settings in the options menu (click the floppy icon and pull down). Experiment with them and see what happens.

Very bad distortion. I'll give your suggestions a try and see if tweaking will help.
