RCT2 is not loading for me...please help

I just tried loading RCT2 today (i've had the game for about 3 weeks) and the loading box came up and after it went through the first one my monitor went black like the game was going to start but then it kicked me back out to my desktop and the second loading box came up. After the second loading box was finished the game did not start but the RCT2 box was in my toobar at the bottom of the screen. I clicked on that and it made the screen go black for a second and i could hear the music and sounds from the RCT2 main screen but then it kicked me back out to the desktop. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but it still does this every time. Does anyone know how to fix this? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks

I'm guessing you're using Windows 98SE or ME.

Reinstall your video card drivers.

That happened to me with original RCT. The computer is what's causing the problem. I have more than one computer at my house, and it worked on all the others just fine. You might want to go to the RCT website and call their information line also.

whenever that happens to me, hit ALT+TAB and it takes me into the game, hope this helps, also im running Windows ME

Thanks for the help guys. I'm running Windows XP and my computer is fairly new. I have a GE-Force 3 graphics card and a pentium 4 2Ghz processor. The game ran perfectly fine for me the first 3 weeks I had it and all my other games run fine. If you have any other suggestions please let me know. Thanks.

Wow... proof once again the most expensive computers still need a good kick now and again :)
