RCT2 HELP! Peeps cannot enter my park.

I'm trying to build a KILLER Hersheypark scenario on RCT2. I created it myself in the Scenario Editor. I built a path from the edge of the screen directly to the entrance of the park (I've built plenty of scenarios before). However, no one can enter my park! No one is on the screen at all...except, on one edge of the screen, where there's no path, I can see a flickering glitch of peeps who are probably trying to get to my park. Has anyone experienced this? I spend hours preparing this scenario, and now I can't even play it, or even earn money to build the park. As far as I know, there's no way to re-edit a scenario once you've saved it, but am I wrong? Also, I assume there's no way to edit paths or scenery beyond the park property if I haven't zoned it as for-sale.

What's going on here???

In the Scenario Editor there is a Guest Entry Point that you have to set. Its a single grid box, with a direction arrow in it. Where your path starts at the edge of the grid is where you need to set your Guest entry point.

Where you see the Guests trying to enter on the edge of the grid, is where the guest entry point is currently set to. Just Chenge it. And Please, let me see when you're done! Ive made some killer parks myself.

Thanks for the quick, and helpful answer! I've created many scenarios before and never knew about that...I guess I was just lucky about that entry point. But I still don't know how to edit that once I've already saved it. If I try to load that park into the scenario editor again, all I can change is the objectives, park name, etc...it won't let my arrow back to do any landscape editing. Knowing how to do that alone would be a huge help, since I forgot to fill my riverbed with water (like a fool).

Thanks.

You can edit the park by going thru the senario editor and loading it as a saved landscape. Unfortunately all rides/stalls will be lost. My suggestion if you go this route is to save all your tracks and re-place them in the new park after you make the changes
The most simple for youself, would be to just connect the park entrance to the spot on the edge of the grid where guests are trying to enter. Other than that, its going to require a ton of work and patience.

Just like John said.

Thanks, y'all! I got it fixed. There wasn't much in my park itself yet (I'd only made it to Carrousel Circle), so it was easy to fix.

That happened to me the first time I created my own park in the editor. I never noticed it until after I had my main paths shops and scenery built. I opened the park, and the guests just circled on the edge of the page. I couldn't edit it, so I just went ahead and started a new park. And, saved the new park over the one I screwed up.

Now I have several of my own parks. But, my favorite thing to do is the build your own Magic mountain scenario. I have several Magic Mountain parks.

My biggest Magic moutain has 32 rollercoasters, The longest coaster is the Beast, which I built when I removed the mine ride, It's over 9,000 feet long, has 6 underground tunnels and has a beast-like double drop over the loggers run. There are currently over 5,000 guests in the park, and I have over $1,000,000 in cash to spend on improvements.

My second biggest Magic Mountain park has 28 coasters, Inluding a replica of Shivering Timbers that I built back behind the psyclone and the go-carts. I also have an awesome inverted coaster in that park that has 4 underground tunnels called Insanity. It has 8 inversions, and is at it's top speed during the middle of the ride, as I built in into the side of a hill.

I also have a MForce-like coaster called Maximum Force over by the Viper, wich is close to 10,000 feet long, and has a 250 drop at 85 miles an hour.

I love rollercoaster tycoon.

Sounds awesome! Yeah, I love RCT and it will never get old for me (never got into RCT3, though).

My Hersheypark is almost done. I'm going for realism, not a fantasy Hersheypark - although there are some anachronisms, like keeping Cyclops instead of The Claw simply because RCT has an Enterprise.

My scale is off a little, which is annoying. I ran out of room at Midway America...or rather I have enough room, but Lightning Racer is just way too long, so it runs behind Roller Soaker. But I'm happy to say that all of the coasters are as accurate as I could make them with RCTs limited track options!

I just moved to Atlanta, so maybe SFG next? Of course I haven't been yet...

heudes, does anyone want to send me there park files. i love seeing peoples recreations of other parks especially PA parks!

its all downhill from here.
