RCT2 for consoles?

I searched for a recent post on this topic, but found nothing. I thought i remember a while back some talk of RCT2 coming to X-Box. Anyone have any solid info, and what about a PS2 version?

I really want to know because i'm a mac user and considering buying a low-end PC simply to play the game - but of course, a console would be much cheaper.

thanks. now, the only question is will it have the same features as RCT2 for PC? i guess i'll just have to wait and find out.

EB Games also had Grand Theft Auto 3 schedualed for the Gameboy Advanded... how reliable of a place is that?? Not very.

Besides, if a game like that were to come out for X-Box, don't you think there'd be more buzz than just a simple mention on EB Games web site?

You'd think that the game would at LEAST... at the very, very least... get the same treatment that The Sims got for PS2... ie: 3D environments.... because if it's a straight port, it's gonna looks soo horrible and play even worse!

I'll wait & see unless something significant pops outta nowhere.
