RCT2 Contest

I was just wondering what most of you thought about the RCT2 official contest. Do you think a lot of people will enter? What age group will be the easiest and hardest? If you have any guess, what do you think the odds of winning are? I also was wondering why you have to build it in the coaster designer. I would have liked a park to design it because I would use trees, trenches, mountains, and any terrain I could to my benifit.

I know I hate not building with scenery! Scenery's my schtick! I've tried numerous times building a 4th dimension in the coaster designer for my age group 13-15. It's so hard! If it's not 10+ intensity rating, it's really long and complex and jumbled together and looks funny! Plus, you can't build with scenery which means you can't really have a solid theme. I already have built like 10 coasters specifically for that contest and none of them are really winning-material. I guess I have to keep trying! When's the deadline anyways?

#1: King Cobra
#2: Georgia Scorcher
#3: Mantis

I think the deadline is the 31st of january, I think.

Yes, it's January 31, before midnight EST.

I actually like building without scenery, and I'm taking my time building my 4D for the 13-15 age group. I'm also putting in some elements that might not be used as much on other coasters, making it more original.

However I can't wait til they have contests for Giga and Wooden coasters ;)

Best inverts:

1. Talon
2. Volcano - The Blast Coaster
3. Raptor

I designed mine on paper in Spanish & Math class because I was bored :) and I didnt have acessto a computer. I've been thinkin about the new elements I could put in my entry. My entry is a military ride, but that's all I can tell you. :)

No real coasters within a 60 mile radius. Boo Hoo!! :(

I have one small question to anyone building for this contest out there: What is a good seat rotation? Everytime I start building a 4th dimension, everything's perfect and then I think, "my bad.. I forgot to put in seat roatation", and I go back and do it. Should I have a seat rotation? ...and what is a good one? ...because I'm completely clueless to that!

I tried to build one and then I realized that I forgot seat rotation. After 3 hours of rotating I gave up and then I put a bag of ice on my eyes.
