Hello. I hope I don't get flamed by those who really enjoy (and are extremely good at) simulations.
Is there any way to run RCT in just a "game" like mode? Sometimes, I'd like to be able to design my own scenario/land, etc., without having to successfully complete previous scenarious.
I don't mind "paying for" rides and losing money in a park; but I'd like to be able to go to "greyed out" or design my own scenarios.
There are a few ways to do this:
1. Finish the sceniros and then see what happens :)
2. Download the Drexler patch at http://www.strategyplanet.com/rctuk/rctpatch/ and then download the trainer from http://techno.danimation.com/ and you can flatten all land and remove trees and other fun stuff like that.
Actually, to do this, you need to first complete all the scenarios of the original game (using the techno trainer will get you through this very fast) make sure you get the Mega Park scenario opened.
Next install Corkscrew Follies, and add the Drexler patch. On the same website as Drexler's patch, he also has different version of the Mega park that you can download. The one I downloaded was completely flat, no trees, and a budget of $100,000,000.00
