Anyone know if RCT will work under windows XP? I cant get it to work and the RCT website and customer service offer no soluions.

I have XP home edition adn it works fine. I don't know why it wouldn't work on your computer.

I just reinstalled it and it stillk doesnt work. When i click its icon I get an error saying "sorry not supported by windows NT". I am useing Windows XP Professional maybe thats why. But arnt the Home edition and Pro based on the same file system?
My understanding is that if you try to play the game on an NTFS partition (winnt) it won't work, but if you install it on a FAT partition (win9x) it should work fine.
My hard drive is divided up into 2 partitions NTSF for the operating system and FAT for all my apps. Ive tried installing it on both partitions with no luck.
did you download any patches from RCT's website? I think that I may have used a patch when I installed it. and get used to that message for a while. I couldn't believe the number of programs that weren't supported by XP. I can only pray that it will get better in the coming weeks and months. ----------------- Knott's Berry Farm Cuba ~South Park
This question comes up on occasion. Make sure you're running the latest patch. I'm running Windows XP Professional on both my laptop and desktop, and RCT runs just fine.
