RCT 3 Wild expansion pack updated.

Screamscape has an update on the new Wild Rct 3 pack, there are only a few screen shots of the new pack. In one of the pics theres a new coaster type. Anyone remember that Setpoint Seismic(sp) Coaster. Remember it had the trains like X but I don't think they flipped. It starts off as one piece of track and looks like one four across train, but then the track and train splits and can do it's own layout or race nd duel. Then at the end of the ride the track and train comes back together as like one. I know it's sounds crazy but it looked like a really cool coaster. I wonder why none has ever been built in real life.

Oh yeah forgot to add this expansion pack focus is on animals(for those that didn't know), there are some wild animals in the screen shots. Theres also a new type of thrill ride looks like some upside down spin and punk airplane ride. *** Edited 7/22/2005 7:08:01 AM UTC by westcoaster man***

That Airplane ride was a concept by an italian company. I think Top-Fun or Pro-Fun or something fun. It is a cool concept which would allow the rider to fully control the plane (three different axis of rotations). I have no idea if this thing is easy to "fly" and if the second passenger would enjoy the ride as much as the pilot.

AFAIK this was never built (the concept was from 2001). And I guess that the RCT animation will use a pre-programmed rice circle.

Now you said you say the pics but can you post a link? just a thought.

You can't judge a book by it's cover but you can judge a coaster by the screams
If they were to make a real coaster that disconnects and connects at the end. That would be extremely hard if the trains actually connect. I can understand if they just share the track. The two trains would have to connect perfecly if the trains actually connected. But like I said, if they just share track and the trains don't connect then yea, I could see one of the being made.

i'm not sure what to put here..

the trains don't connect, they only share on side of the complete track. It's kinda like if you put a roller soaker on intamin box track. Each train would be on either side. That is what I'm figuring it's like.
That ride concept is pretty cool. In real life since there are so many variables such as weight distribution, friction, and wind resistance I suspect that one train would often reach the merging track before the other. I wonder if we will see this kinf of coaster built at a park in the near future.

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.
