When I saw the screenshots I was a little dissapointed. Sure don't get me wrong the scenario editor should be fun, and the SF parks will be interesting. But for a while now, I've been wanted a rollercoaster Tycoon game that you can walk through your park, and ride on your rides from a first person view of one of your guests.

The screenshots look quite impressive to me - it looks like you will be able to build a coaster on a separate screen without the park in your way, and it definitely looks as if you will be able to theme your stations.
It also looks as if you are able to see through your ride to the other side of the park as you build it -
I have been having a lot of trouble connecting one side of the track to the other with my rides in RCT 1 - I wonder if this is something that he "doctored" up this time so that we spend less time on this and more time being creative.
One more thing - I wonder if you can build a monorail out into the parking lot this time around or connect it with a hotel and restaurant - that would be nifty. I believe you can at least move the park entrance.

I'm disappointed that people get disappointed about the stupidest things.

They may be stupid to you, but they aren't to us. Surly you know that there are people out there that consider coasters stupid. Everybody is interested in different things and you can not blame them for it.

I am dissapointed about something I noticed with the X screenshot. Notice how on Viper(I think), you still can't have a banked diving turn. You have to deal with what ya got.
You can have a banked drop. Just look at Goliath, that wooden coasrter, the blue intamin coaster, and the green premier coaster.

I'm dissapointed in the Impulse coaster. The spiral needs to be more like a corkscrew, with the train spiraling in a central vertical position, as apposed to the cars flipping around the central vertical track.-----------------

Come on Zero-G. How picky ae you? How long did you study that picture for? Be glad they are adding Impulse's to RCT 2.
What the world is coming too!
Some of you people are really annoying. I personally think the game looks awesome. Do you actually think that there is ever going to be a game that contains everything you want, a coaster game that is. I highly doubt it. Just please stop whining over stupid topics like this. I mean if you don't like it, don't buy it.

I am talking about a long banked drop, like what you would see on a SLC.
Ok genius....Look at the second to last picture. The green coaster has a long banked drop.
Hey genius, notice in the X screenshot how there isn't a banked drop on Viper. Also notice that the only coasters with motifications are the new ones. Therefore making it a dissapointment to me that the coasters that were in the existing three versions of the game can not have banked drops.
And Blink, I am very impressed with the game. But we did wait quite a while for it and these are just some of the things we hoped to see but we aren't going to.
I think some of you may be getting all disappointed prematurely. We have no idea if existing rides are modified or not. Nobody's played the game, and you can't tell everything from just a handful of screen-shots. In fact, the wooden coaster is shown with banked drops and even a straight-line banked incline, so this does show that "old" rides can take advantage of the new features as well.
Wait until you get it in your hands before you get disappointed over something that may or may not be missing.
