RCT 2 as cheap as $22.88

I just got the sunday paper and noticed RCT 2 is 22.88 at Target and 24.99 at Best Buy in Dayton Ohio I thought it the original price was 30 and im a little suprised that its already cheaper. I was just wonderin if thats like this every where.

Games and movies are usually cheaper the first week they come out. For instance, when I purchased We Were Soldiers back in August, it was only $14.99 the first week it came out. The following Sunday, it shot up to 20 bucks

Best print price I've seen yet is $19.99 at Circuit City, although the ad says "In store Tuesday" and the CC's by me definitely don't have it on the shelf yet.

If RCT2 is only 22.88 at Target I'm going to be really pissed granted I went to Target and bought the game for 30 bucks AT TARGET yesterday...

Most stores have a price protection guarantee if they (or a competitor) have the same item at a better price within a certain number of days, they will match the price. I know Best Buy is at least 14 days, so I will be at my local Best Buy with my receipt and the Circuit City ad on Tueday to get $10 back...

I'm not sure if Target still has this policy (though I think they do), but if you purchased an item and then it went on sale within the next 30 days, just bring the receipt to the customer service counter and they will refund the difference.

Of course the game technically isn't out yet, so they may handle it differently.

I paid 39.99 for mine on Friday at Walmart, and today in the paper on an ad for circuit city it says it is 19.99. Im gonna go complain tomorrow to those stupid people at Walmart

Hmmm...I'm gonna have to make a trip back to Target on tuesday. I saw the sale in Best Buy and was upset about a $5 difference; $8 rocks!

$39.99!? You have to be kidding me, right? Man, did they rip you off.

I wonder why these stores are selling the game at such a price difference. Best Buy - $24.99; Target - $22.88; and Circuit City - $19.99! I thought they would all sell it for $29.99 because that is the price i have seen all over the internet. Whoever paid $39.99 for it was, no doubt, ripped off!

Fiesta Texas Fan... are you in San Antonio? Did you get the game yet? I've been looking all around Austin, and there's no sign of it anywhere!

Target charged me $29.99 on Friday. I'm going to go back on Tuesday and demend a refund for the sale price.

No i don't have the game yet. I looked in two targets nearest me and Best Buy as well. They don't have it yet. Target has a sign saying it will be out on the 15th and Best Buy doesn't say anything. It is pretty weird because best buy is selling the strategy guide already.

I got mine at K-mart today and paid 29.99. I took the Best Buy flyer, but they wouldn't honor it. Maybe it's because of their bankruptcy?

Well, i went to my 3 local targets, they had the stupid sticker, but no game. I asked if they would sell it to me cause they have the sticker on the shelf saying that they would sell it, they said no, i was p o d untill i came back home and opend up my local circuit add!!!!

I can't even find the strategy guide anywhere, or any store that even has a sign saying "coming soon". It had BETTER be here on Tuesday, is all I can say! This last week has been sheer *torture* :-)
