Rattler finally opens at Cliff's

Well, we planned our Honeymoon in the hopes of catching a ride on it. Unfortunately, it was closed. Still, we rode Speed the Ride and had an amazing time in the 4 corners region. For those who have never been, Bryce, Zion, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon are worth checking out.

Oh, and we saw a mountain just outside of Bryce called "Thunder Mountain." Guess what? It LOOKED exactly like the one in Disneyland. How dare they copy the mouse?? ;)

I live in Albuquerque with my wife and 5 kids (all future coaster enthusiasts!) and will go for my first ride on the NM Rattler this Saturday when they have their official opening to the public at 1pm. I have watched them build this from the very beginning and am very impressed with the way they fit this aggressive design into such a small park. We will get some great photos for RCDB when we are there this Saturday so keep an eye out for them. (as a UNM Lobo Grad Student I will have to post a RIDE REVIEW as well!) We are all so excited to fianlly have a true roller coaster! It is about time!

This ride has an amazing number of dips and speed that seems fast as heck. You must give this coaster a try.
