Raptors Cobra Roll Replacement

I remember hearing around that Raptors Cobra Roll was almost entirely replaced after the first or second season. Im just wondering (1) If this is true (2) why it was replaced and (3) What was replaced, Supports, track, what?

Entirely replaced? No, not true. Was there a crack in a track weld? Yes. In true CP fashion, it opened again the same day. It was my understanding, though I don't know for sure, that the section that suffered the problem was replaced in the off-season.

A weld broke second to last day of, I think it was the 2001 season, at the bottom of the drop between the rail and a tie at a section joint. It put the ride our for the day, but instead of just closing it for the season, they repaired it and opened for closing day. Made a nice thunk when you went over it.

Sit on the left side of the train. At the bottom of the first drop there is a bit of uneven track (track with a bump) on the left rail. You can sometimes feel it, and can always hear it. It's there, seriously.
