Raptor Clone

Not that this is much of importance but I couldn't help but notice. So you know how the main page here on CB will load a different coaster every time you visit. Sometimes I catch some crazy looking rides I've never seen before most overseas, but anyway this one caught my eye being it was a BM. I couldn't remember seeing one that was all white, so taking a closer look. From the pictures and searching for it over at RCDB, its pretty much a clone of Raptor from the Point. Like I said not that this is anything of importance but I was just found it interesting of the find, I'm aware that this wouldn't be the only clone of a coaster from CP, I know about Chang, but never knew about this one. Just out of my curiosity, how many of you knew this or is this news to you.

Heres a link to the page of the ride from rcdb.

I would say most of the 'regulars' on this site know about Orochi. This isn't even old news, it's ancient. Not trying to be harsh, just stating the facts.

Yeah is Good!
Some of us have even ridden it.

Chang is a coaster at CP?
;), well okie so i was asking for the smart comments, but i still thought it was interesting. I pretty much never follow or have i ever really done my research on anything over seas unless its in main stream news that i come across.

You should really spend some time looking into the overseas parks. There are plenty of parks and coasters to discover that aren't located in N. America. You'll be surprised at what you've been missing as there are some stellar coasters located in far away lands.

Yeah is Good!

Not quite. However, they are certainly similar. In fact, aren't their layouts identical up to the first flatspin (besides the fact that Chang is 10 or so feet taller)? Oh, and obviously it's mirrored as well.

So, taller and in the opposite direction. Not exactly identical.
Schwarzkopf shuttle loops are clones... Chang and Mantis are not.
Orochi has a pinkish coloured spine. The rest is white.

-Congo Falls - 90 rides (one day) -Murder of the Orient Express (1980-2003)
Not to mention the brake on Mantis's drop. Chang doesn't have that.
Not to mention Chang has an almost entirely different second half.
Well if your going to clone a ride it might as well be the best and since Raptor is my favorite coaster at CP I wish more parks would clone it

Uh, yeah, what he said. Not to mention that the portions of each rides' layouts which *are* similar still ride and track much differently as well. Similar to the 2 Roars, I think. Very similar layout, but with different math involved.

Expoland doesn't seem to enjoy color.
