Rampage tested

Saturday, March 1, 2003 2:32 PM
Well yesterday Rampage at Visionland ran a few times and did great. Basically all of track is being replaced and realigned. Also no reprofiling has been done, so still the same great ride. Looks like everyone needs to plan a trip to Visionland this summer.

(/begin Lerch voice)....You rang...(/end Lerch voice, it was hurting my throat anyway, LOL). For the most part, it really is that PR person in Southern Indiana who brings out all the best puns...;)

I can *foresee* a trip to Visionland this year...it'll be our first. But with SFNO, it *looks* pretty good for a roadtrip. Can't miss out on this CCI again, and I don't think it's necesarily promising at this juncture for long-term stability of the park. *Hindsight*, being 20/20, tells me I should have visited before...;).

Bessemer, for what it's worth, is the Steel City of the South, where the Bessemer process was perfected. So take THAT, you Pittsburghers...:)
