"People who aren't batsh*t insane for coasters shouldn't be allowed to ride!"

Can I use that for my new sig? :)

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

Rob the lodge is now open.... looks pretty sweet, only about an 1 1/4 hours away from me. :)

CP was amazing, going back next June to ride Maverick

And they have grand opening specials too. Sounds a little pricey on the surface, but if you can get 6 or 8 people who can stand each other into a suite, it might not be such a bad deal.

You guys sure know how to get off topic real quick. ;)

LOL! With all due respect, I hate to burst your bubble but if you don't have free time in high school, you definitely won't in college. Trust me (and just about everyone else who went to college and cared about GPA) on that.

I like the term "SBNO enthusiast" better than "Ex-enthusiast" now.

Funny. :-P

I kinda like a simple "SBNOE" myself:

"Hi, my name is Joe-Bob, and due to my hectic work schedule, I'm an ess-bee-en-oh-ee"

I rarely studied, and graduated with something like a 3.10. It is possible to get a decent GPA while riding coasters and playing RCT2. Now if I actually studied, I could have gotten something closer to a 4.0.

EDIT: Did I mention I went to what is supposed to be a top 50 university? (I graduated from the former CWRU).

Perhaps, but did you not have enough time for coasters, etc. while you were in high school?

Generally, the habits that would lead to 'no free time' in high school will not magically change when you get to college. Whether you're devoted to classwork, sports, working for money.. it'd been my experience that it carries over to your habits in college as well. Hence why I said "...if you don't have free time in high school..." *shrugs* either way, it's not anything to lose sleep over. I just found that statement to be amusing because of the stereotype of college which seems to me to be untrue for the majority of Americans, that's all.

Well, I go to one of the top 10 private high schools in the country (uber-pretentious), and the competition is utterly insane...seriously...<start boasting>I got a 1550 on my SATs in 9th grade </end boasting>, and well, basically...I'm nothing so special. I'm determined to get into Harvard, Yale or Princeton, and therefore, have virtually no free time nor time to sleep (god I wish I was born 10 years before...it was SO much easier to get into top schools, all you had to do was be smart and get good grades...now you need great grades, don't need to be all that smart because of the New SAT, and need do something greater than curing cancer...(I'm working on alzheimer's right now...50 hours per week+50 hours hw+ 10 hours sleep+ debate +....+10 minutes allocated for hobbies/interests per week (coasters, movies, and American Idol...don't ask))) *** Edited 11/16/2005 5:25:05 AM UTC by Stitch***

Definitely better to be an SBNO enthusiast than a *defunct* enthusiast...

...and I'll *stand* by that! ;)

Stitch, may I heartily suggest you just forget about those inferior schools and come join me in wearing orange and black? ;)

Wow, I don't know how some folks here would be able to get over-the-shoulder restraints over those huge heads! Might I suggest a small jar of vasoline to add to your coaster riding paraphernalia. ;)
