quick question for the florida group

hi all, long time reader first time poster.

Me and my girlfriend are going to disney next week(8-29 to 9-2) . for her first disney trip, I am a florida resident, but she is not. i hopped onto the disney web page and noticed that there is a florida resident discount. like one day park hopper pass for $59.00 or 3 days park hopper for $119.99 compared to $90.00 for one day and 206 for three day.

now i guess my question is, what is disneys procedure in letting in florida residents. do they check for proof of residence when you buy the ticket or when you use the ticket.....or both

the reson i am asking is that we are on a limited budget and i guess that i am just plain cheap. any help would be great.

ohh how are the crowds, around this time....is it worth even getting the park hopper option, or are we looking at hour waits on most things.

thanks in advance

scott

When you buy the tickets at the gate... they'll ask for a Florida ID. Since it seems like your girlfriend would not have one, then they would not sell her that ticket.

If you buy it in advance, they'll send you vouchers to be exchanged at Guest Relations outside the parks. If your girlfriend doesn't have a florida ID, they will NOT process her voucher.
