Quick Q on CP construction

Looking at the new Webcam, to me it appears the track will have a curve in it before hitting the ascent into the top hat. Does anyone else see this? Or am I imagining things?

A day is a drop of water in the ocean of eternity. A week is seven drops.

Oddly enough I was looking at it before reading this post and now it's not working (guess it's overloaded or something cuz now it's a red x.) the old one is working though

Back up .

I think it's the fisheye lense that makes it look like a curve

It is back online again. But I can't confirm a curve in the track as stated above.

However there is a cherry picker crane within the Iron Dragon structure which makes me wonder if the new ride will head in that direction or if they are starting to paint Iron Dragon.

The launch really does look like it's going to go straight up - I don't think there will be any other elements prior to the vertical section (and I am referring to the section of columns which is adjacent to Iron Dragon). I think you are confused about the column height - it suddenly becomes shorter right before the track starts to go vertical. I think this is so the column can accept a different track profile (square versus flat).

I think this is what you were referring to....

Check out some of the other threads on this. The track will twist at least 270 deg. before going over the top-hat. Also, check out the pics at virtualmidway.com. You can see there how the track will twist, at least on the down side.

There is a new twist in the Top-Hat. :)

Was wondering what peoples suspicions were for the supports facing towards the inside of the tower in this pic:

Could they relate to Jeff's tower elevator? Notice there are walkways at each level, but nothing to get from one to the next.....Just hurry up and announce it already CP!!
