questions about Water Country USA

So I'm not much of a waterpark person, even though I do tend to have fun when I do go. I've never been to Water Country USA, even though I've lived in MD all my life. We're gonna try and go for the first time this Saturday.

How does it compare to other waterparks in terms of offerings, quality, crowd sizes, etc.? For instance, I've enjoyed the following waterparks: SFA, Dorney Park, SFFT. How does it compare to those and others I haven't been to? Also how should I expect the crowds to be on Sunday? Thanks in advance!

It will exceed your expectations. If you like SFA's, Dorney's and Fiesta's then Water Country USA will quickly become your favorite. It's true Busch style. Clean, well landscaped, good service.

I went this past Saturday. The crowds were light (I was fully expecting a packed parking lot), the park didn't get overly crowded. I suspect everyone heads to BGE on Saturday and the waterpark becomes a 1/2 day trip on Sunday. I did find the food a little pricey (just like everything else Busch does, they charge you for everything including the chili for hot dogs and bbq sauce for chicken fingers). Be careful of where you put your things, a friend of mine had his chair stolen the last time despite having a towel on it. Next time, we're going to take locks and lock them to the chair so we know where our chair disappeared to.

A day at the park is what you make it!

Yea, I really like Water country, but for me, it's not worth the trip anymore. their slides are fun, but I wish they had more. We were done in like 4 or 5 hours. but the last time I went was 2001. So it probably changed a hell of a lot since then.
