Questions about Coastermania

This will be my first time attending CoasterMania.

I was just wondering how many people usually show up?

I will tell you dont expect exclusive ride time, you and about 3000 other enthusiasts are going to show up. Likely less but it is a lot of people.

Extended ride time yes Exclusive no.

So dont expect to get a whole lot of rides in during the ERT?
When and where is coastermania taking place?

------------------
Millenium Force- 1
Wicked Twister- 7
Magnum- 7
TTD- 0

You will get a lot of rides but ERT for Millie had an hour line last year. Maggie however was a couple train wait as was Raptor, and Mantis.

Thats cool. Are all of us Coasterbuzzers going to meet somewhere?
It'll be my first CoasterMania too -- and I'd be willing to bet that the turnout will be closer to 5000 than 3000 this year thanks to Dragster. Do the math, dividing the attendance by the 1-3 coasters doing ERT and the lines will probably be far worse than a typical early June Friday.

No worries though. You're getting nearly 20 hours of Cedar Point action. I'm banking on crashing in the afternoon and heading back fresh to the bitter end when I think the tired enthusiast crowds will start to thin out. That last hour -- between Magnum, Wicked Twister and Milly -- may prove to be the only real ERT of the day but I'm psyched.

Too bad you can only buy one extra ticket per club member. That leaves out a lot of people needing to buy for their spouse and kids. Or take one friend only.

Last year they allowed 3 guests per club membership. So that is what I did. If they only gonna allow 1 guest per membership, I have already made the precaution and signed them up for a Coaster Club.

Sawblade...are you sure you don't mean two years ago? Last year (according to the information sheet) they only were supposed to allow one guest per club member...

Last year it was only one guest per Club member. 2000 was three. The sleeping during the day is a wise move, but I did that and missed the lunch and Q&A. I'll probably do the same thing again since I'll be driving down to PKI the next day for BeastBuzz.

I disagree that there will be more people. I think with the guest limitations there will actually be less.

Just be sure to get to PKI the next day for BeastBuzz.
