good question! I was wondering the same thing.
they probibly get moved into storage and torn down for maint, like most of their coasters.
but you're, they're not covered.

The trains for every ride are parked in parking lots, midways, where ever they're not in the way of traffic. They're rotated into the various rehab facilities around the park, which include the normal shops and picnic pavilions enclosed for the winter.

Hmm, I wandered aimlessly when I was new also :) :) Anyway, Im guessing that since the trains are mostly made of fiberglass and metal, they don't really deteriorate from being outdoors for long periods of time.

Fate is the path of least resistance.

Now forgive me if this sounds stupid but, they put the coaster trains in the Picnic Pavillions?

Sure, once the picnic tables are stacked out of the way, the pavilions provide shelter from the elements with very easy access. At the beginning of this past season, Indiana Beach still had the Air Crow scooters and one of the Locosumo trains sitting under a pavilion. Do other parks shrink-wrap their cars like IB does?
'Tuan - seats and such that aren't fiberglass would probably take a beating from the elements, not to mention birds probably think the stuffing is quite warm ... and large colorful trains make nice toilet targets (working off the clean car theory). Plus, metal not deteriorate outside? Is someone forgetting about FeO? ;) (rust for you non-chemistry geeks)

Yea Kyle, I think there's even a few pics floating around of coaster cars in picnic pavillions. They're just hunks of metal - take 'em off the tracks and put 'em under cover that's already existing. Not all coasters have the nice little train barns like B&Ms.

And Notre Dame football isn't on tape delay, ask Tyler Palko ;) Let's Go Pitt!!!

That was hilarious. NBC apologized for it ever 3 minutes after it happened. I doubt he was caught up in the moment. ;)

Yea, no kidding =)
If there were any Pitt fans under 30 who didn't like Palko before, they sure do now! ;)
