Question about the new proposed "Great Northwest t

Friday, December 22, 2000 9:28 PM

Does anyone living in the area know how big the new proposed site for the "Great Northwest Theme Park" will be? An article stated 80 acres but is the just for the amusement portion of the park or the WHOLE site? I hope this doesn't end up being a landlocked park like SFEG with ZERO expansion room for new rides? In other words how big is the COMPLETE site and how much room for expansion after theintial park gets built??

This park doesn't look very good. It has like 3 coasters. They're all nothing special, what's the point of going to this park?

The market. As you may have noticed, the Northwest doesn't have many coasters, only the Puyallup Fair one and the ones in that park. Six flags will probably make plenty of cash up there.

A 300 foot coaster is nothing special? This is a park not yet built but in the planning stages! Screamscape has a list of proposed rides for the new park! I just hope Six Flags buying out Enchanted Village causes the plans to be cancelled? Becuase Enchanted Parks are restricted to go only 150 feet so NO hypers will ever be built there! :-(
