Question about Terms of Service

How come under #4 of the ToS it says that readers aren't interested in anything that has to do with, 'favorite, best, top 10, worst, versus, most'.  I mistakingly posted a thread that had to do with 'versus' (Inverted vs. Floorless) and there were 8 reponses before it got closed.  Six out of the 8 answered and didn't care that it was a topic involving 'versus'.  If 75 % of the repsonses answer then obviously the topic is interesting.  I just don't get why there is this rule.

Look they are not allowed because CoasterBuzz isn't about a grudge match site or a battle of the coasters website. If  you don't like it then too bad and leave or go make your own site just for favorite coaster forums. But please not here! CoasterBuzz is about sharing information, ideas, rumors and news.

Just because 6 or 7 people respond to the thread with a one sentence answer doesn't make the thread appealing or interesting. Nobody wants to read a thread where everybody displays a one word answer "inverted" or "floorless." Where is the excitement or interest in hearing someone's opinion where only one word is involved. Vs. threads get extremely boring extremely quickly when the entire wesbite gets filled with them and vs. threads are the only threads that can be responded to. If you want to have favorite threads then go to another site that doesn't care about them and post them there or else follow the TOS and have fun posting worthwhile topics that always have a purpose or advance the topic in a way without worthless garbage threads. (such as favorites, vs. best, worst, most, least, etc.)
