Question About SFGAm

I was wodering, did they take down the cajun cliffhanger or rename it? I was not able to find it anywhere in the brochure. I heard somewhere about some accident awhile back.
No, they didn't enitrely take it down. Last year, a girl was riding in a careless manner, and when the floor rose back, her toes got caught. Six Flags closed the ride, never to open again. I believe that they removed the ride, however, the circular building it was enclosed in still stands.
I think they ride was removed, but the outer structure still remains. I may be wrong though, so wait for some other answeres.

See, I think Six Flags is to cheap to tear it down.
Yep, it is just the building that is left. They have some type of prize game in front of it. I think it is a game of strength. This kind of stinks, because of someones carelessness we lose a great rotor ride.

The game has always been in front of it, for two years now. I dont think its taken out now, I heard just this summer, probably til the court things are over and all with the girls. Bet it will be open next year, or late this year.
Why would they just take the ride out? I mean the GP doesn't know about the accident or anything...I just love waiting in lines and hearing people talk about roller coasters.."Yeah what ever happend to the ride the you stand up and it spins?" lol...funny- Oh well...I actually never got a chance to go on Cajun Cliffhanger. I hate enclosed spinning flat rides, (i.e. the ORBIT: Just looking at it makes me sick) Give me the roller coasters. V2 and Deja Vu if it ever opens...

I think that was on every news channle in Chicago. I remember kids going up to me in school and asking me if it was true. So a lot of people know about the accident. I allways liked that ride too...

You sure the game was in front of Cajun Cliffhanger last year? I dont remember it there. Oh well, guess I might have not paid attention. As far as the ride still intact within the building, all of the signs are gone and their is no mention of it in the pamphlet and park map that the park gives you. Remember that the Haybalers building was still intact until this last season but had no ride inside of it for the last couple of years.

I haven't been to the park yet this year, and I remember it for at least the last 2 years. So, yes, the game in front of the Cajun Cliffhanger has been around for a while.

Chitown, the game has been there. I have no way of proving it, other than find a way to get back to last year and look for yourself.

As for the ride, I've heard it had been taken out, and the building left because it is cheaper to maintain than demolish.

Somebody told me that they went on it this year, around memorial day.

Whoever told you they rode it is full of it.

The game has been there for two years. The park had to move the entrance to the ride to make space for the High Striker game.
