Cedar Point season pass holders ONLY get in early if they have a Joe Cool Club membership... having a CF season pass won't get you in early.
unless you are staying at a CP hotel/resort, of course

Wonder if SF's waterparks work that way?
gator, never been in a "separately-gated" waterpark at any of the chains...and don't really go into waterparks much at all. But I know they're profitable, and that's good for the parks....and 'Playa likes em, and they DO make for shorter lines in the RIDES section... :)
The CF season passes I've had....MiA and Knott's...not quite up to the geographic diversity of my SF passes though...why can't we get a chain OTHER than Adventure Parks (not that I *mind* the WA/CG season passes) - hope to get some Galaxy Spin before CAC... ;)
Oh, and the Soak City entrance RULZ! Thanks Kristin :)

The only way you can get into CP early is if you have a CP pass WITH Joe Cool, or you are staying at one of their resorts...Breakers, Sandcastle, Camper Village, Castaway Bay, etc.
Having season passes from other Cedar Fair parks will NOT get you into the park early with the Joe Coolers and resort guests.
If you have a CF pass from another park they are very quick and efficient about it. If you go to the Soak City entrance (just take the road to the left all around to the park, past the Marina, MForce, campground) all you have to do is go through the office and "sign in". The guest relations office at the front of the park usually gives you a ticket after "signing in".
That's my only gripe about CF and Paramount passes, you have to "sign in" instead of just having them scanned like the Six Flags passes.

They usually run Mforce and Dragster, but from my experience Dragster usually gets up and running around the time they let the GP in.

I had both a Paramount & SF Pass last year- never went anywhere but PCW with the one (it was near my now Ex's house)- the SF pass...when we went to La Ronde (my French Canadian supervisor at Cirque du SoLame says I pronounce it wrong) our entry into the park was delayed 30 minutes because they needed up to fill out a long form!

My Cedar Point pass has only been used at Cedar Point 4 times, and Dorney once. I am going to get a Knott's pass next year while at Solace, since I have to renew my picture anyway if I go to CP.
I didn't get the Geauga Lake add-on. I only went there once this year, and they were having a "pre-Memorial Day" discount. I think they charged us $19.99. Awesome deal considering the park was dead.
My Six Flags pass, however, has been used the most...SFMM (where I puchased it this time), Darien, Great Adventure, SFA, and St Louis later this month.
