Question about J2 and Clementon Advertising

I was looking at Clementon Park website today. They are saying the J2 is new for 2006. I know it was built in 2004 and in 2005 they changed the name. Anyone know why they are still advertising it as something new each year?

Thanks,

Maybe it's even more vicious this year than it was last year...new and improved! ;)

Probably because the park has absolutely nothing else to hype.
I don't think Clementon really knows what it is doing. A shame really, the park could be nice.
It could be but it clearly needs new ownership. I don't think the current owners have a clue about anything.
All they have to do is restore the Jack Rabbit, bring the whip back, bring the dark ride back, bring the carousel back...A few things like that and you would almost have a real park.;)
Yeah but I think the owner wants a water park and a couple of rides that will make money without having to lift a finger.
Water park is gonna be in trouble once that new indoor one is build that is less then 20 minutes away.

Yeah, this place really has no clue what it's doing. One day last summer a friend and I went over there to check otu the coaster and everything. Got to the gate only to find the place closed. We asked the one person outside the gate why the place was closed and he said (paraphrased) "well it rained a lot yesterday and they predicted rain today.. so we decided not to open..."

No mention of it on their website or anything... and in those few min. we were there a bunch of other cars were turned away... haven't been back there since and honestly, I really dont care to

But yeah, I've seen the ads about the "new" coaster, its quite strange..

Aside from the coaster, the park is a big waste of time. Everything special about it was ripped out years ago, or is currently standing idle.
The log flume looks interesting (and I don't want to hear it about the brown water [it's natural]), and what about the boat on the lake?
Just because the brown water is natural doesn't mean I want it splashing all around me. The whole park smells because of that lake.
The smell is probably from you. Brown water in the pinelands region of NJ (Clementon is on the edge) is actually very clean. The color comes from tannin from oak trees and the needles from the white cedar.
I may smell like a lot of things but swamp water is not one of them ;)
