It makes me wonder though, who goes to a company "team-building" event and gets ****-faced in front of the company VP, a few managers, and the folks from HR?

I've done it. I've had employers throw some seriously epic parties. I also don't drive afterward.

I've gotten *stars*-faced not just in front of, but rather with VP's, owners, CEOs, whatever. That's just how we in the fun business roll, I guess. ;-)

Some bar here in Toledo got sued into oblivion (and faced criminal charges) after some guy who'd been drinking there killed a van full of kids. So there's certainly precedent (at least in Ohio) for holding the provider of the alcohol responsible, as ridiculous as it may be.

Apparently you have nothing on the postage meter crowd. But I guess we now know why you folks had to get that liquor license. ;)
