Quassy adding spinning cups ride for 2012

Quassy Amusement Park will put a fresh spin on its family-friendly tradition with the addition of a new ride for the 2012 season, park officials announced Friday, Dec. 2 A tea cup ride from Italian ride manufacturer Zamperla will make its debut in the spring.

Why don't we get articles about the big amusement parks adding tiny kiddie rides?

The Wooden Warrior, at least when I was there, didn't have a line to begin with.

With or without the cups ride, Quassy is a very charming little park in nowhere Connecticut that I would recommend to anybody. The scenic boat cruise over the lake should not to be missed. The sunset is stunning!

I got 8 rides early in the day with a station wait at most. I waited half an hour for my final ride mid-afternoon, and the line was longer when I split. One train ops will do that, especially for a ride as neat as that one.
