Quantum Loop at Seabreeze...

I just saw a picture of the Quantum Loop on the main page(of this site) and I started wondering, have they taken it down yet or is it staying for yet another year? I am hoping for the possibilty of a new coaster next year (or possibly the folowing year) if they get rid of this soon.

There is a new coaster coming next year. The coaster will be a Maurer-Sohne Spinning Coaster, which is just a wild mouse coaster.

It looks as though Quantum Loop will be staying another season, however... as they have not yet sold it to anybody yet, but anything can still happen at this point.

Just a wild mouse coaster? Yeah right

Well, I don't really know anything about that kinda coaster... so to me... a wild mouse is a wild mouse is a wild mouse.
They're all low capacity, small, rarely themed, and only mildly fun... at least the ones I've been on.
I think Hershey's Mouse is a decent capacity coaster, for a wild mouse. I'd think the constant movement of the cars in the station would up the capacity, wouldn't it?

I've often wondered from time to time, how to write good poetry- and make it all... Work.
Thanks. The only spinning mouse I've been on was fun so I think this will be a good addition, minus the capacity. Dawgbyte, could you link me to where you found this information, I don't not trust you, I am just curious.
DawgByte , That type of coaster is all the rage now , like , the next big thing. Supposedly it's the best coaster at Lagoon , over two Schwartzkophs.

*just informing*

Hmm.. acording to rcdb.com, the q is leaving this coming season. Rob, how do you know its staying?

BTW, I think qloop is the best coaster there, its actual really fun. Jrabbit didn't thrill me one bit and it was a dissapointing ride :(

thepinkdoomofmonkeys, you're right...Spider is the best coaster at Lagoon, and in fact is one of the best coasters in the Northwest, period.

These Maurer Sohne mice are definitely the next big thing, and are anything BUT "another mouse coaster."

Joe "do I sound like a broken record yet?" C.

OMG I have a new sig!!!
The maurer sohne halfpipe elements look really cool. saw that they have a halfpipe coaster planned at IAAPA (different than the intamin one). Did anyone else notice that for their track 3d layout they used No Limits?
Maurer-Sohne spinning coasters have as much in common with wild mice as Schwarzkopf Jet Stars. Which is to say, nothing at all.
the one that is going to Seabreeze is one of the first two Maurer Spinners that were built. Those didn´t match the quality that the later versions (such as Spyder)have. Its a little rougher and jerkier.

With the third version Maurer did some minute changes which made resulted in a much more fluent ride, better spins and smoother transitions. But be assured it doesn´t compare to a Wild Mouse at all. Even the Reverchon spinning mouse is not comparable.

In any event, it wouldn't take much to have a better ride than the Quantum Loop. After a decent drop and loops, it totally fizzles out.

Schwarzkopf shuttle loops...The most possible fun in 36 seconds.
