And where exactly does it say this? I know the poster proabably meant that, but I took it in a different way. Sorry for posting on this thread.

Getting back on subject and off CP, I agree that BGW as amazing coasters. I even enjoyed Wild Maus, but then again, I rode it before Ricochet. It was my first Mouse Coaster, and they are good fun.
Alpengeist, Apollo's Chariot, Loch Ness Monster, and Big Bad Wolf are so great.

Drop Oup at PKD in 2003!
OoOoOo...Rolley Coaster!
BGW is home to my favorite coaster, AC, and Alpie and BBW are also best of their types.
SFFT has some great coasters as well, minus Rattler. Superman:Krypton Coaster is the best coaster in Texas in my opinion, smooth and forceful. Poltergeist is nice ride now with lap bars. Roadrunner Express is probably the smoothest and most enjoyable mine train I have rode, and the Boomerang is considerably smoother than others.
There is a site (won't mention it because I don't want to spam), that has a Top 20 parks with the best coasters. This takes into account the average rating for the total number of current coasters at a park, based on members ratings.
The top 5 looks like this:
1) Holiday World
2) Islands of Adventure
3) Knoebels
4) Kennywood
5) Busch Gardens Williamsburg
I am not saying this is foolproof, but it seems to reflect some people's opinions in this thread.

But that all changes once you take the dive taht leads into the world's first overbanked turn and into a 256 foot drop.I still question the authenticness of the 256 foot drop. Why would it's top speed be only 68.3 mph?

1.Phantom's Revenge 2.Thunderbolt 3.Shivering Timbers 4.Montu 5.Mega Zeph
Vertigo, what are you talking about? You're info on Bandit is all wrong. (If you got those numbers off of Cbuzz, they are incorrect)
It's height is 160 something, and there are no drops over 200 feet. Due to the terrain, the maximum height difference is over 200 feet, but sadly none of the drops are that much. There is no overbanked turn. After the first drop there is an elevated turn like most twister woodies have, but nothing like today's overbanks. (I have a pro video and a home video of Bandit that show the entire layout)

Grant, that certainly is reflective of a lot of people's opinions (hey, mine included), but I don't really agree with "penalizing" a park for having bad coasters....just don't ride THOSE! I mean, SFWoA would move UP if RWB were torn down....as would SFMM/SFGAdv if their "horrendous" woodies left the line-up.....but some people still enjoy them, and they do help the lines for the good rides - well, a little bit...;)
My point is that a park with lots of good coasters and one "crappy" ride shouldn't be marked down for having quantity too....but the five parks you listed certainly are great places to visit....shame I've only gotten to those two PA parks once each.....so far!

Idlewild Park would be a good coaster for the category. It has one of the worlds biggest mice ever, and a small yet thrilling wooden coaster. Also I have to agree with Holiday World and Knoebels.-----------------
No, no no!!!!!!!!!! Idlewild does not have any insanely thrilling coasters. When was the last time you saw either of them in the top 100 list? They are not considered good coasters. They're more less family coasters, which is the whole point of Idlewild, a family park. I can't believe Idlewild was mentioned as an example, geez.

Lake Compounce-So Fresh and So Clean Clean
Boulder Dash-I'm just so happy to have you babe'
Vertigo, that number is correct, but only in terms or height difference (a sneaky way of getting a big number!). There aren't drops over 200 feet :( In fact, I still am pretty sure the first drop is the tallest from crest to valley. Sure the other drops are huge, but they are so shallow! I'm still not sure which banked turn you are referring to. Before the second big drop, or before the third drop?
