PTC Lapbar question

Does anyone know where I can find one where you can see the lapbar up close?

Here is the best I can do for you, it is a zoomed in image of the lapbars on the Twister. I am assuming you are looking for the newest type of PTC lapbars, and not the older single position lapbars.

Copy and paste the link, the hyperlink does not work correctly otherwise.

Just wondering which kind of PTC does Legend have?

Legend has the new, 2 bench, single ratchiting lapbars. And may I say, they are MUCH better than gerstlauers, especially on a ride with high lateral forces.
Do they have a strong return spring or are they springless like the ones on Shivering Timbers and Rampage?

What do you want to know about them? I have several older style cars mostly intact and could provide pictures if you want.....
Comet Rider, just curious, but are you a collector, historian, etc?
The best lapbar was on Roar.. It must of been like 7inches off me, and even if the bar touched my leg it never locked. I wonder why? It was great :)

Um... Roar = GCI.

yes but roar at SFA runs PTC trains, Roar west(SFMW) runs millennium flyers.

seems relevant here, so instead of hi-jacking another thread, I'll put it where it belongs. Always one to *complain*, lol/ But this is GOOD news about ratheting lapbars on PTCs. Sure we all know about Twister, and I have added DBH to my list of "PTC lapbars that stay put". But then, I had to update that list and add one more coaster to this fine (but short) list.....Ga Cyclone! Those suckers stayed RIGHT where you put them....gotta LOVE that...:)
