Disney California Adventure, Anaheim, California, USA
We visited California Adventure last Friday. It was the first time we'd been since my 4-year-old son hit the 42" mark. He braved the Tower of Terror even though we told him that it would be really scary. If he had asked to get out of line, we would have definitely obliged. But he hung in there and we all had our pants scared off. It was truly a great moment. I'd forgotten how fun that ride is. I was impressed. I wouldn't have been caught dead on such a ride before my 10th birthday. Now we have to see if, knowing what was in store for him, he'd go again.
On a side note, he LOVED Mulholland Madness and requested re-rides. I think we may have a budding coaster enthusiast in our midst.
Wow, 4? That's impressive. My boy turns 4 in July, and I don't think he'd be interested in a ride like that. He's only been on the two Taxi Jam coasters at KD and Carowinds, and while he liked them, he wasn't chomping at the bit to go again...
Better watch out, I survived and loved the Yankee Cannonball at age 2 (and 11 months) sounds like you have a true budding enthusiast there.
Took my 4yo to Disneyworld a few months ago, and she loved TOT.
She thought it was a giant froggie hopper.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I honestly thought it would be a long shot and wasn't counting on a ride, but he went with the flow.
Now that he's older, he has a lot more stamina. We were able to get in 6 hours before the melt down symptoms began. Just a year ago 4 hours was pushing it.
