Adrian Jones is the general manager of Legoland Florida, opening this month. Jones has worked for Merlin or its acquisitions for years, opening a number of Madame Tussauds locations. He says he was pushing for the Florida job as soon as he heard there was potential for a Legoland there.

I don't think this is worthy of its own news post but I was just reading on Facebook that Legoland made an interesting decision after this weekend's wet, AAA Preview event. I think AAA members got in the park for $35 (half or so the cost of a regular, one day ticket). In light of the wet weather they are offering those folks who attended to bring their tickets back to the park and they will get that amount credited on the purchase of another one day ticket. So, for another $35 they can get in again.

That is a pretty good deal and, if it is any indication of the type of customer service we can expect out of them in the future, a lot of other park companies might need to sit up and take notice.
