Problems @ Lesourdsville Lake

I have been to Lesourdsville Lake a few times this year. I am extremely happy that the park reopened, but I wonder about the future. I can vouch for Coasterville Dave's statements earlier.

I know that during opening weekend not all of the rides were open and that was fine with me, but I have been there midway through this season and there were several rides closed as well. When I go to Lesourdsville, I pay $4.00 to park, $2.95 to get in and then $15 or so for a ride pass. $22.00 is a lot of money to go to a park when several rides are closed. I am not the only person who has experienced this-at Stricker's last month, I talked to some non enthusiasts who had been to LL earlier and were unhappy with the rides being closed.

I think they should get the rides up and running and if this isn't possible, offer a discounted admission to the park. I am also turned off because of having to pay three prices(parking, admission and ride pass) at the park when I go. This gives me the impression that they are always after more money. Why can't general admission be charged like it is at Kennywood. KW only charges general admission if you do not get a pass.

I hope the staff at LL can get it together for next season if there is to be a next season. I want the park to be successful.

That's not entirely true at Kennywood. If you read the fine print the "Ride All Day" package *includes* general admission. So when the ride all day is priced at say $21.95 they are really charging 14.00 for the RAD and $7.95 for admission.

LL could do the same thing by saying that the Ride Pass is $18.75 and includes general admission

Funny....I seem to recall a two-page thread already discussing LL.
