I am using a Ge-Force MX/MX400 and I just updated the drivers. It's a Gateway that is about 3-4 years old. I don't know the exact specs on the comp. but I am using Windows 98. My problem is when I click on RCT2 on my desktop it makes an hourglass, then nothing happens. If I go in through My Comp. and try it the first screen comes up but when I click "Play RCT2 Now" the screen goes away but nothing comes up.
I'd appreciate the ideas you have on what might help. It's pretty frustrating when every game I get I have problems with. Damn Gateway's in-compatibility. Thanks for you're help in advance.

This problem has been discussed a few times already on this board. It has to do with the copy protection that Infogrames uses on their software. It works too good sometimes. If you are playing the game in a CD drive that also acts as a burner, it can have issues loading. If that doesnt work you are going to have to download a very illegal no-cd crack to play your legal copy of the game. Otherwise we wait and see what Mr. Sawyer will do as far as patching this problem in the future.
Oh and report the problem to the RCT2 website. They need enough people *****ing about the problem before they will fix it.
