Preparation and common sense help avoid injury at amusement parks

From a health and safety point of view, there are a few things worth keeping in mind so that the day at an amusement park remains enjoyable, experts say. That includes staying hydrated, wearing good shoes and playing by the rules.

"Common sense" is a misnomer. It's not very common.

Remember the advice from the staff at Holiday World: "Drink [water] until you pee."

Just make sure you do indeed pee, lest you end up dead like the woman who held her wee for a wii.
