Pre-PPP with GregLeg - CoasterBuzz

This was my second Phunfhest at Knoebels this year. I guess it could be considered one of the first events I saw more than one other 'Buzzer at too.
--I met up with GregLeg near the park and he followed me into the parking lot around 2pm. Traffic wasn't as bad as last year. Since it was Greg and his brothers first time to Knoebels I had to give them the Grand tour. Our first stop was the High Speed Thrill Coaster. For a small coaster it packs a HUGE punch. They were giving longer rides then usual about 3 extra laps. From there we went to the "Greatest Bumper Cars on the Planet" to get out some pent up road rage. Nothing beats getting beat up on these Old Lusse Auto Scooters. Our journeys led us to the infamous Haunted Mansion. I told Greg and his brother to each take seperate cars. Greg told me it was the first time he actually jumped in a haunted house in a long time. :) We then stopped by the registration table to sign up for the Phun Phest. After reistering we ventured to the Flyers. There were already some ACErs and other nuts snapping away. Nothing can top the Flyers at Knoebels. Long live the Flyers! :) From there we made our way to Twister. No line for Twister yet. I told Greg to sit in my favorite seat, first car second seat. Twister seemed faster than ever. After we got off of Twister we met up with other Coasterbuzzer, CoAsTeRDaN. We all made our way over to the coaster swap meet. I didn't see anything super great this year at the meet. I did run into other Coasterbuzzer Sam A. Marks (he's a newbie to the buzz). He had a table set up promoting his club the Coaster Zombies. After the meet we finally hit the Infamous Phoenix. I made Greg and his brother sit in the ledgendary, king of all ejector seats #3. Greg liked the selection of seats. After some serious airtime we went to the Grand Carousel. This was the first time Greg ever caught rings on a carousel. Matt and I had an awesome time at Knoebels. I'd like to publicly thank Dan for meeting up with us and showing us around his home park -- I can see why he's so proud of it! Knoebels is a GREAT park, and any Coasterbuzz'er who hasn't been there should set aside some time to hit it.

I agree! Some of the young people on this board need to see that you don't need 12-14 rollercoasters to be the best!
