Pre Knoebels trip report question.

I will be at Knoebels either Saturday or Sunday this weekend with the family and was wondering if anyone else is going to be there. I know about the meeting calandar and have posted there but not everyone uses it so I thought I'd ask here.

Thanks,

Tom

What, go to a snoozefest to ride a crap coaster with no airtime and a boring layout? Yeah, I'll probably be there. Just not sure which day though.

^ & ^^ Take a nap for me...on the benches by Phoenix...that thing always puts me to sleep. :)

I'll be there in early October though... ;)

Yeah, I know, it's going to be a real sleeper when my almost 6 year old daughter gets to ride Phoenix and Twister for the first time. What boring park would have TWO rollercoasters that are wooden with limited restraints that allow anyone 42" on? My poor kid is going to be napping away while floating on some air. She'll exit the rides and tell her 3 year old brother that the Frog Hopper is better! :) She's actually 45 1/3 inches so maybe I should make her wait until she hits 46" for Iron Dragon and Disaster Transport. :)

Probably should change our plans and go to the mall instead. ;)

Tom

P.S. Can you tell I'm excited about this? So excited that I posted the thread in the wrong forum first.

As long as you are bringing the family...if the weather is decent, try to allot some time for thier pool / slide complex.

Like many things you will see there, it's more than the sum of its parts and was a BIG hit for my 8 year old on a hot August afternoon.

Here's To Shorter Lines & Longer Trip Reports!

Hey, if your into those travelling carnival type parks, then knock your socks off.

I for one will be riding the best coaster of 2006;

Kentucky Rumbler

This weekend; along with my personal #8 Voyage as well.

Either way, enjoy your trip. I just wish you would be able to experience at least an ounce of airtime on any of the coasters you'll be riding.

Did I spell everything right? How's my sentence structure?

I'll be there with my family as well all weekend. I hope the weather holds up ok (camping lol) I'm planning on hitting the pool/waterslides one of these upcoming days.
Looks like Saturday is 100% chance of rain and 65 degrees. AM showers on Sunday and 72 degrees. Neither day seems conducive to swimming. I've been going there at least once a year since 1993 and have yet to set foot in that pool, but I have never had a bad trip there. One of the best was when I rode the Phoenix with my wifes' cousin, who was 7 at the time and I held on to her while she laughed the whole ride. I was terrified because her rear end was just flying off the seat.

I have you beat by a good 25 years, Scotsman. Never been in the pool either. I don't want to get my tickets all wet and soggy. :)

Knoebels has a pool? ;)

65 degrees is PERFECT coaster weather, not to mention flyer weather. ;)
