PR.....But with a loop?

Wouldn't it be cool if PR had a loop in it. Not that I have anything against the PR already built, but I was just wondering what everyone else thought on this. I think it would be cool.
It did, it was called the Steel Phantom and it is gone.

Just with a loop. No corkscrews or a batwing. Just a loop. But the whole coaster has the same layout. But with a loop. Get it?
Yeah, but then odds are it would need the OTSR (over the shoulder restraints) again, and let me tell you, I don't want to see them on that ride ever again. OUCH, it hurts just thinking about it!

I thought the inversions were the main reason they changed SP into PR? It had something to do with the brake run right before the inversions, it like never worked or something.

CP in 2002, get to the point
The brake run never worked!? Man, tens of thousands of people must have been killed! ;)

Seriously, that wasn't the case. Low ridership, increasing maintenance costs, and an overall painful ride is what prompted the change, if I remember correctly.

They took a good coaster, and, IMO, made it better.
