The Phoenix Phall Phreeze- and Phun-Phest was Phan-Phreakin'-Tastic! If you haven't been to Knoebel's, go...it's hard to find, but WELL worth the effort. The more time I spend at traditional parks, the better I like 'em! We were lucky enough to have a "coaster hoster" in Coastin' Steve, Knoebel's ambassador of goodwill to the RRC community, and a great guy to boot. Two of the finest woodies around in Twister and Phoenix, and more enthusiasts than you can imagine. Phast and Phurious bumper-cars, an original Roll-O-Plane, a Mangel's Whip, a carousel where you can still "grab the brass ring", and SO much more. Costumes galore! A long TR will follow shortly as we visited Dorney and SFGAdv as well, but I had to get out a quick post on one of the best events around!
